On Friday, 29 September 2023, the European Researchers’ Night will take place in 26 countries, including Poland. It is an event that showcases the diversity of science and its impact on people’s everyday lives in a fun and inspiring way.

The aim of the European Researchers’ Night is to bring research and the work of scientists closer to the public, to promote excellent research projects in Europe and beyond, and to increase young people’s interest in research careers.

According to the organisers of this European event, children, young people and families will have the opportunity to meet scientists and discover research, science and innovation through a wide range of scientific demonstrations, hands-on experiments, games, quizzes, competitions, exhibitions and digital activities.

European Researchers’ Night attracts more than 1.5 million visitors from Europe and beyond every year.

In Poland, the European Researchers’ Night will take place in Malopolska, where it will be accompanied by the Malopolska Researchers’ Night (ERN4Change), and in Poznan (NIGHT4FUTURE).
