European Union awarded “Crystal Brussels Sprouts”

The jury of the “Crystal Brussels Sprouts” Award, organized by the National Contact Point for Research Programs of the European Union (EU), awarded prizes for successes in the EU research and innovation framework programs.

This year, the award in the Science – Universities category was received by the University of Warsaw, in the Science – Scientific Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) category – by the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and in the Science – Research Institutes category, the award was obtained by the National Center for Nuclear Research.

This year, the jury of the Crystal Brussels Award was chaired by the Minister of Education and Science, prof. Przemysław Czarnek.

The Award Committee selects the winners from among Polish participants of the Horizon 2020 Framework Program – the largest framework program in the history of the EU to strengthen scientific excellence and increase the economic competitiveness of the Member States.
