Phil Hogan, European Union Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development visited the University of Agriculture in Krakow (URK) and met with the authorities of this university as part of a visit of the delegation of the European Commission to Poland.
The meeting included the presentation of research and education directions at the Krakow University of Agriculture. Commissioner Hogan “was greatly impressed by the discussed issues and expressed his readiness to strengthen cooperation and implement joint ventures. He also invited scientists and students to visit Brussels.”
Phil Hogan emphasized the high quality of research conducted at URK. He also presented the assumptions of a new perspective for the Common Agricultural Policy and discussed plans regarding the principles of agricultural financing.
