The Faculty of Political Science of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin, the European Documentation Center of the UMCS and the Regional Representation of the European Commission in Wrocław invite students from the Lublin region to take part in the European workshops (first time voters). Classes will be held in: Zamość, Chełm, Puławy and Lublin.

The organizers invite students for whom the elections to the European Parliament in 2019 will be the first in their life and who want to learn the principles of functioning of the European Union in an interesting way. It will also be an opportunity for direct meetings and talks with lecturers from the Lublin university.

European workshops for young people is an action within civic education about the European Union and the place of Poland in the processes of European integration on the fifteenth anniversary of Poland’s accession to the EU. The project is financed from the Regional Representation of the European Commission in Wrocław.
