The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń have received the prestigious accreditation of the Accreditation Commission of Technical Universities (KAUT) for its Applied computer science, Automation and robotics, Astronomy at the faculty of physics. This is the only faculty of the wide- profiled university in Poland that has received such accreditation.

The KAUT accreditation was granted for the years 2020-2025. It allows the graduates of accredited faculties receive an appropriate certificate in English informing about compliance with European standards European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), and their diplomas will be recognized throughout Europe.

KAUT is a member of ENAEE and has been authorized to issue the European quality certificate EUR-ACE Label since 2013. Thus, the units that will be awarded the KAUT / ENAEE certificate receive simultaneously the EUR-ACE certificate for the BA and MA studies of an accredited field.
