The Faculty of Environmental Engineering at Wrocław University of Science and Technology is starting cooperation with the Wrocław Combined Heat and Power Plant Complex Kogeneracja. The partners are announcing the organisation of joint scientific and didactic projects and student internships.
The agreement was signed by Bartosz Kaźmierczak, Ph.D. and Andrzej Jedut, president of Kogeneracja’s management board, and Krzysztof Kryg, vice-president. Both parties declared the exchange of scientific information, publications and didactic materials, as well as participation in educational and didactic campaigns, especially in the popularisation of topics related to climate protection.
The cooperation also means an opportunity for students to get to know the practical side of district heating systems and technologies and environmental protection, by carrying out internships, work placements and theses at the company.
This is another agreement that a company owned by PGE Energia Ciepła has signed with university units. Previously, the mechanics and energy faculty decided on close cooperation with Kogeneracja.
