A modern laboratory for advanced manufacturing technologies has been opened at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Opole University of Technology. This will enable the university to expand its cooperation with industry. The laboratory also provides new opportunities for important scientific achievements.

“The new laboratory is another tool for even broader cooperation with industry. For many years now, we have been supporting industrial companies not only in the Opole region by conducting scientific research or, for example, carrying out implementation doctorates. This is an important part of the Opole University of Technology’s activities. Of course, the new laboratory is also intended to serve our employees to improve their competences in the university’s key research”, says Opole University of Technology rector Prof. Marcin Lorenc.

The laboratory of advanced manufacturing technologies, is dedicated mainly to the engineering industry, widely represented in the Opole region.
