The University of Gdansk, Gdansk University of Technology and Gdansk Medical University are launching a joint business service point. In this way, the Gdansk universities, which make up the Association of Fahrenheit Universities, want to make it easier to initiate cooperation with research and implementation centres.
The new service is intended to optimise the cooperation path and the process of working out solutions to companies’ R&D challenges. Entrepreneurs will receive comprehensive support in the implementation of R&D projects, including access to a wide, diverse range of research services and the modern infrastructure of the three universities, as well as the opportunity to form interdisciplinary project teams.
‘A common point of contact for business is expected to enable faster response to addressed needs, while at the same time allowing for fuller utilisation of the potential of the three universities’, says Professor Marcin Gruchała, Chairman of the Assembly of the Association of Fahrenheit Universities, Rector of the Medical University of Gdańsk.
