From 14 to 18 November, the AGH University of Science and Technology will hold the Feast of Exact Sciences – Days of Prof. Antoni Hoborski. Since 2017, this event is a statutory university ceremony, the aim of which is to popularize the development of exact sciences and awareness of their proper teaching.

The aim of the Feast of Sciences is to pay attention to the problems associated with teaching basic subjects. It is also a commemoration of the Professor Antoni Maria Emilian Hoborski – an outstanding Polish mathematician, the first rector of the Mining Academy and dean of the Mining Faculty.

The event will include the Conference of Students’ Scientific Clubs of Prof. Antoni Hoborski and a scientific conference presenting selected achievements of the Faculty of Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics, Faculty of Power and Fuels, Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, Faculty of Applied Mathematics and AGH University of Science and Technology.
