On June 7, 2018, the University of Rzeszów celebrated its anniversary. As the part of the event, assistant professors and PhD holders were promoted, Prof. Anna Blom received the title of doctor honoris causa and Tadeusz Ferenc, the President of Rzeszów received the Great Medal of the University of Rzeszów.

The celebrations began with the performance of Gaude Mater Polonia sung by the Choir of the Music Department under the direction of Dr Bożena Stasiowska-Chrobak and greetings from Prof. Sylwester Czopek, rector of the University of Rzeszów.

After the graduation ceremony, Prof. Sylwester Czopek said: “I would like to thank all the promoters for their work with PhD holders and for participating in today’s solemn promotion. I wish doctors a further development of their scientific interests. ”

In the second part of the celebrations of the University of Rzeszów, Prof. Anna Blom received the title of doctor honoris causa, the President of Rzeszów received the Great Medal of the University of Rzeszów and the University staff received state awards.
