The Scientific Association ” Włącznik” operating at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Silesia in Katowice invites participants on May 7 and 8 to the 17th WATCH DOCS Film Festival. Human Rights in the film”.
The program includes screenings of films from around the world that deal with human rights. They will be accompanied by meetings with invited guests, discussions and lectures prepared by scientists from the University of Silesia in Katowice. The program includes a discussion panel on counteracting hate speech and workshops for students “On the trail of prejudices. Anti-discrimination workshops”.
The official opening of the festival will be attended by the university and faculty authorities, as well as the Ombudsman for Human Rights Dr Adam Bodnar and director of the WATCH DOCS International Film Festival, Maciej Nowicki, vice president of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.
