Architecture and urban planning was awarded the prestigious A+ category and seven A categories for the other scientific disciplines practised at Krakow University of Technology. The Krakow university has received the final decisions of the Ministry of Education and Science on the results of the evaluation of scientific activity for 2017-2021.
As a result of appeals filed by the university against the July decisions, higher grades were given to architecture and urban planning (promoted from category A to A+) and technical informatics and telecommunications (promoted from category B+ to A).
“We are proud of the excellent results of the evaluation of our scientific activities. They give us full authority to award doctoral and postdoctoral degrees. They are a recognition of our research, publication and patent activity. They also confirm that our research work has a significant impact on the functioning of society and the economy”, says Professor Andrzej Białkiewicz, Rector of the Krakow University of Technology.
