The first enrolment at the Jan Długosz University (UJD) in Częstochowa has ended. Nearly 4650 candidates declared their willingness to study at the university. The system recorded more than 6,000 enrolments – some candidates even enrolled in several faculties.
‘This result confirms that the University is developing all the time. Undoubtedly, the change of the university’s name and obtaining the rights of a classical university, excellent results of the evaluation or the recent success connected with obtaining the status of a ‘European university’ have influenced the perception of our academic centre as one that educates at the highest level’, says UJD rector Professor Anna Wypych-Gawrońska.
The most popular faculties include: medicine, full-time, single master’s degree, 1,932 students enrolled; psychology, full-time, single master’s degree, 488 students enrolled; and law, full-time, single master’s degree, 349 students enrolled.
