First Polish “Top Disruptors in Healthcare” report devoted to innovative medical start-ups

The report was created on the basis of surveys which asked 20 questions about the developed idea, needs, problems, team, sources of financing, etc. The publication contains a description of 74 medical start-ups, which accounts for 50% of this market according to the Polish Development Fund.

The vast majority of 74 start-ups included in the report, 78.4%, are operating as a limited company, and 12.2% are joint-stock companies. Over 1/3 of respondents (37.8%) are expanding their activities. They are stable start-ups that are currently working on acquiring new customers and providing further product development. Definitely, numerous start-ups (45.9%) use telemedicine solutions.

The authors of the report are Polish Federation of Hospitals and Young Medicine Managers. It is an initiative implemented under the support of the Ministry of Health, the National Center for Research and Development, the Medical Research Agency and the Polish Development Fund.
