The first series of workshops in the Clubs of the Young Programmer e.g. teaching children programming together with their parents, has finished. Clubs have been operating since last autumn in 16 Polish medium-sized cities.

Over 20,000 people attended the classes for 9 months of Club performance. 97 percent participants would recommend classes to others, and 92% would like to take part again- say the surveys conducted with parents and participants of the classes.

The questionnaires asked how the participants rate the location of Clubs, robots, educational materials and equipment. Locations where classes take place correspond to the expectations of 97%. parents, the same number is satisfied with robots, and educational materials correspond to the expectations of 96 percent respondents.

Half of the respondents learned about the workshops from the Internet, nearly 25 percent from the school where their child attends, 18 percent. from family/friends, and 8 percent from a poster or leaflet.
