The first Zagłębie Science Marathon will be launched at the end of February. During its six weeks of duration, 35 free events are planned, including lectures, discussion sessions, knowledge competitions, tests of individual predispositions, competences and talents, as well as interactive meetings with scientists and laboratory demonstrations.

This is the first event organised by the Academy of Humanitas in Sosnowiec. Its aim is to unite knowledge and science enthusiasts into one community. The initiative is aimed at people of all ages: from primary school pupils to students to seniors.

“It will be a marathon of the mind, where every minute will bring new insights and every meeting with experts is a step towards understanding the mysteries of the world around us. With us, the marathon takes on a new meaning. It is not a race, but an intellectual journey that only requires presence and a willingness to learn”, encourage the organisers.
