The five faculties of the Silesian University of Technology received a positive evaluation and passed to the second stage of the competition organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The Ministry awarded Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Environmental and Energy Engineering, Faculty of Materials Science and Metallurgy and the Faculty of Transport.
The universities applied for money for full-time PhD studies starting in the academic year 2018/2019, when education will be conducted in cooperation with the PhD student’s employers.
The money will co-finance the costs of using the research infrastructure in order to implement the PhD student’s research, as well as to finance the PhD scholarship during the PhD studies provided for in their program, but not longer than 4 years.
