Dr Munish Kumar Gupta, a scientist dealing with tribology and sustainable manufacturing, will come to the Opole University of Technology for two years. This lecturer of the prestigious Shandong University in Jinan, China, will conduct research at the Department of Machine Technology and Materials Science and conduct classes with students.

– The presence of a foreign scientist with such achievements is valuable for our students and the socio-economic environment, which will also benefit from his scientific research. In this way, the university also strengthens its position internationally – says Prof. Marcin Lorenc, rector of the Opole University of Technology.

Inviting a researcher from abroad to Opole is not a financial burden for the university. The scientist’s remuneration is covered by the National Agency for Academic Exchange. Dr Gupta is invited to come to Opole at the beginning of next year. The University of Technology is inviting other new foreign researchers.
