The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and the French Academy of Sciences have announced the second Maria Skłodowska-Curie and Pierre Curie competition. The award is co-financed by the FNP and the Zygmunt Zaleski’s Fond.
The aim of the award is to emphasize the benefits of Polish-French scientific cooperation. It will be awarded for the second time to a pair of scientists from Poland and France in recognition of their joint research achievements, which contributed to the strengthening of scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The award is made on the basis of nominations, including auto- nomination. A pair of candidates may be nominated by any active representative of the Polish and French scientific community.
The winners will receive 15,000. euro, including 5,000 euro as an individual prize and 10 thousand euro in the form of a subsidy to continue scientific cooperation.
Applications will be accepted from December 20, 2021 to February 28, 2022 at 4 p.m.
The announcement of the results and the award ceremony will take place in Paris in autumn 2022.
