The Foundation for Polish Science together with the German association Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) invites participants to submit applications for the 8th Copernicus competition of outstanding Polish and German scientists.

The aim is to distinguish outstanding scientists from Poland and Germany who have special merits for Polish-German cooperation and can demonstrate outstanding research achievements as a result of this cooperation.

The prize is awarded to two scholars – one working in Poland and another working in Germany. The prize amounts to EUR 100,000 for each winner.
