The Foundation for the Development of Polish Agriculture announced the 12th competition “Polish countryside – heritage and future”. Its purpose is to promote Polish agriculture, issues related to rural areas, cultural heritage and to enrich public debate on the Polish countryside.

The deadline for submitting entries is 31 July. In previous competitions, works in history, culture, economics, sociology, natural and agricultural sciences were awarded. The condition is thematic connection with rural areas.

The competition will evaluate popular-scientific and other scientific papers presenting a particularly inspiring and innovative view on rural development issues. The jury will also assess works presenting the cultural achievements of the country and the region, describing local initiatives, historical heritage of the village and illustrating an example of success in the development of the Polish countryside.
