The comic book “Ville nouvelle” (New city) – will be offered in the online bookstores in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Canada. Dr Łukasz Wojciechowski, lecturer from the architecture department of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology published his work with the French publishing house Éditions ça et la.

– “New city” takes us in the years 1958-1977, allowing to follow the fate of the team of architects engaged in the post-war reconstruction of their city. However, this is not a historical tale or a comic book about architecture. It’s a story about people, and architecture here is an excuse to show universal human behavior, our nature and aspirations – says the author.

This is the debut of a Wroclaw architect who has so far treated the creation of comics as a hobby and placed them on his website. Dr Wojciechowski drew “Ville nouvelle” in the Autocad program that serves architects in their daily design work to design projections, elevations, cross-sections or details.
