Hanwha Aerospace Europe has announced on social media that its parent company Hanwha Aerospace has signed an agreement with South Korea’s KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) technical university to provide funds to support 50 Polish students who will attend master’s and doctoral programmes between 2024 and 2030.

The agreement is part of efforts to expand and deepen the defence partnership between the Republic of Korea and Poland. Polish students’ tuition fees and research and development activities will be funded by Hanwha Aerospace and other defence companies.

Approximately 460 million won (PLN 1.44 million) will be allocated for this purpose under the Korea-Poland Defence Industry Cooperation Programme, which will begin in the summer semester of the 2024 academic year.
