Gdansk University of Technology will cooperate with the Polish State Railways (PKP Intercity). As part of the signed agreement, a new educational offer will be created, which will be based on the experience of scientists and know-how of the company. In addition, students will benefit, among other things, from internships, apprenticeships and study visits.

The partners promise to organise courses, training, dual studies, postgraduate studies, as well as the development of existing courses and specialisations through better adaptation to the needs of the rail transport market. The agreement also includes mutual support and exchange of experience for the development and research of the rail industry.

An important point of the agreement is to promote the railway industry and showcase its development and achievements by organising conferences, seminars, workshops and symposia with the participation of students and academic staff. There are plans for joint industry and scientific publications, cooperation with the university’s career office, and the design of joint teaching and research and development activities.
