Gdańsk University of Technology and the National Center for Agricultural Support in Warsaw (KOWR) have signed an agreement on the intention of cooperation and confidentiality of information between partners.

The purpose of the agreement includes utilization of computing power and data storage resources of the IT Center of the Tri-City Academic Computer Network for the needs of KOWR, implementation of works aimed at the digital transformation of Polish agriculture and digitization of data resources on Polish agriculture. The partners also expressed their intention to start cooperation in other projects and areas that are important for both institutions.

The National Agricultural Support Center was established on September 1, 2017. At that time, two agricultural agencies ceased to exist: Agricultural Market Agency and Agricultural Real Estate Agency, whose tasks were taken over in a significant part by KOWR.
