Gdańsk University of Technology has been admitted to the organization of AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), a global association of economic universities. Thus, the process of university accreditation has started and will last about 4-5 years.

AACSB accreditation covers institutional as well as educational and program issues. A team of international experts will assess the content of scientific activities related to management and economics combined with engineering and social sciences.

Currently, AACSB is accredited by 820 institutions from over 50 countries, including 531 universities from the United States (including Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Yale University, Harvard University). The number of members of the organization today exceeds 1600 units from around the world.
