For the second time, Gdańsk University of Technology (PG) took first place in the ranking of the most popular universities, prepared by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

The ranking published by the Ministry is a summary of the results of recruitment to higher education institutions in the academic year 2018/2019. It shows that the Gdańsk University of Technology received the highest number of applications, as many as 8.8 applications per one place. The second position in the ranking was taken by Warsaw University of Technology, with 7.2 graduates for one place.

A total of 29.5 thousand students applied for studies at PG. The students were mostly interested in the faculty of Management and Economics: economics (33 people per place), management in English (28.8) and economic analysis (22.5).
