Gdańsk University of Technology as the only Polish technical university was included in the group of thousand best universities in the world according to the latest prestigious Times Higher Education World University Ranking.

Also the Jagiellonian University, the University of Warsaw and the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań are included on the list of the 1000 best universities in the world. Gdańsk technical university advanced more than other Polish universities, leaving its former position in the 1000+ range.

THE World University Ranking is one of the most respected and opinion-forming rankings of universities. The high schools are evaluated in five categories: education, internationalization, scientific research, citation and publication index, and cooperation with business.
