The Gdańsk University of Technology has signed a Letter of Intent on the creation of the World Network of Civilization Centers established at many universities. The main mission of the Network is to promote ideas and search for innovative solutions for the development of a wise civilization through the cooperation of researchers and scientists from all continents.  

The main goal of the Center will be to collect, select and analyze data from the world scientific centres in order to be able to monitor the main directions of civilization development. This is one of the stages in the process of creating the World Civilization Monitoring System.

– Important organizational aspects will be developed during the process of establishing the Network, its structure and management and advisory bodies. (…) Current activities of GUT will focus on building a team open to cooperation with other members of the Network, clarifying tasks and preparing a preliminary budget.
