Gdansk University of Technology has signed a letter of intent for cooperation with Siemens Industry Software. The document was signed by the rector of the university, Prof Krzysztof Wilde, and the commercial director of Siemens Industry Software, Rafał Żmijewski.
As part of the cooperation, the partners declared mutual support in terms of knowledge transfer, implementation of new digital tools and implementation of development and industrial projects, as well as co-organisation of workshops and conferences. Siemens provided the university with a package of licences for a wide range of software for use in educational programmes and research projects.
‘At Gdansk University of Technology, we want to serve society as well as Polish and European science. I am delighted that such a large and recognised company as Siemens has decided to enter into closer cooperation with us. I look forward to tightening it in the coming years and jointly developing solutions that will help the development of Poland and Europe’, said Prof. Krzyszof Wilde after signing the document.
