Gdansk University of Technology (PG) will collaborate with National Taipei University of Technology. The Joint Research Protocol of Academic Collaboration will enable joint projects in the fields of materials engineering, environmental protection, electrical engineering, mechatronics, information and medical technology and biotechnology.
‘We are pleased that the agreement with Taipei Tech is not only a general declaration of cooperation, but also a promise of the implementation of important research projects in key areas for both universities’, says PG rector Prof Krzysztof Wilde.
National Taipei University of Technology is one of the leading public universities in Taiwan, founded in 1912, with 13,000 students in 19 faculties. The university is a strong centre of cooperation between science, industry and business. 10 % of CEOs and board members of companies operating in Taiwan are Taipei Tech graduates, and the university supports 25 new start-ups each year.
