Gdansk University of Technology has signed a cooperation agreement with Electrum Holding. The document was signed by Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz, Vice-Chancellor for Organisation and Development, and Grzegorz Stanisławski, Vice President of the Management Board of Electrum Holding.

The partners announce cooperation on education in the development of modern technologies for energy transition and decarbonisation of the economy, as well as the construction of a Climate Tech Hub for the Baltic Sea region. 

“Cooperation between science and business in energy transition is a fundamental condition for sources of innovation and civilisational progress. Gdansk is the birthplace of many initiatives such as the hydrogen cluster, start-ups and investments in renewable energy. Therefore, the initiative to concentrate the Climate Tech hub for the Baltic Sea region around the Gdansk University of Technology is to build a creative place of progress, integrating technological entities, investment funds, entrepreneurs and innovators”, says Prof. Dariusz Mikielewicz.
