Department of ocean engineering and shipbuilding at the Gdansk University of Technology and Alstom Renewable Poland Ltd /Baker Hughes, and GE Company signed an agreement on scientific and didactic cooperation.
The agreement includes provisions for conducting lectures by employees of the company, organization of study visits at Elbląg, participation of students in reviews of implemented projects, cooperation of the company with students – including providing topics for the implementation of engineering and master’s theses, as well as organization of student internships.
In addition, the company’s employees will have the opportunity to continue professional development in the scientific field as part of PhD theses. The agreement also covers research and development cooperation. In the first stage of contract implementation, 10 students of the University of Technology will hold a month-long professional practice or a six-month research and industrial internship at General Electric.
