The Gdynia Maritime University has become a member of the PACTT Academic Technology Transfer Center Agreement – an association of representatives of university units responsible for the management and commercialization of intellectual property. The task of PACTT members is mainly active cooperation in establishing partner relations with entrepreneurs.
By joining the association, the University will be able to use the tools of the PACTT platform, join in strengthening mutual relations with Polish research units and initiating nationwide pro-innovation activities, as well as issuing opinions on legal changes and strategic documents affecting innovation policy.
The inclusion of universities in PACTT is aligned with strategic goals, implemented by developing strong interdisciplinary research teams open to undertaking new topics of scientific activity as part of projects and assignments directed to universities from industry.
