Gdynia Maritime University has started cooperation with PKN Orlen. The partners want to jointly implement innovative research, analytical and scientific initiatives related to the development of offshore wind energy in Poland. 

The continuation of cooperation between PKN Orlen and the Maritime Institute of the Gdynia Maritime University in the field of innovative research and development, analytical and environmental research related to the development of offshore wind energy in Poland is particularly important for the University.

The Maritime University of Gdynia is also planning to launch engineering studies devoted to offshore wind energy. Their graduates will gain technical and practical knowledge necessary to work on the preparation and operation of farms that will soon be built in the Baltic Sea. PKN Orlen specialists will share with students their practical knowledge and experience and will provide substantive support in the development of new fields of study.
