Gdynia startup Ignibit designed a virtual ship combat information center (Combat Information Center, CIC). The project was presented at the Saab stand during the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce.

The virtual model fits in a room where visitors, wearing 3D glasses, can feel like on a real warship, in the command center, during combat operations. The virtual CIC includes Saab solutions i.e. multi-functional consoles.

The model can be used to train crews before the construction or reconstruction of a real ship. It also allows mapping the conduct of marine activities in close- to- real conditions. In addition, the virtual CIC allows simultaneous training of crew members residing in different locations.
