On June 3, 2018, the general of the army, Dr Miroslaw Różański held a lecture “Challenges for the state and NATO armies and the global security system” at the School of Economics in Radom.
In 2011, General Mirosław Różański obtained a PhD degree in the field of defense sciences. In 2015-2017 he was the General Commander of the Armed Forces.
During the lecture, for the first-year Master’s students in the field of Internal Security and Administration, he discussed the role of national armed forces in shaping state security, in the context of belonging to NATO structures and the need to modernize Polish armed forces. He drew attention to the provisions of the Washington Treaty, which impose on NATO member states the obligation to maintain their individual capabilities to resist assault.
