This year’s Shanghai ranking of scientific disciplines Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2023 has been published.
A total of more than 1,900 universities from 104 countries and regions are included. The ranking is prepared by the ShanghaiRanking Consultancy agency. The ShanghaiRanking was first presented in 2009. Since 2017, it has been published as the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) following the introduction of a new methodology.
Physics and mathematics taught at the University of Warsaw were ranked between 101 and 150. Mathematics at Jagiellonian University in Kraków was ranked between 151 and 200. Instruments Science & Technology and Metallurgical Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków were ranked in the same range of places.
Veterinary Science (range 76-100) and Agricultural Science (101-150) at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Agricultural Science (76-100) at the Poznań University of Life Sciences, Finance (101-150) at the Poznań University of Economics and Veterinary Science (101-150) at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn were ranked highly.
