The call for entries for the 13th Gold Medal of Chemistry competition, organised by the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) in Warsaw and DuPont, is open until 14 October 2023.
The event is held under the honorary patronage of the Polish Chemical Society, the Committee of Analytical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and Professor Maciej Żylicz, President of the Foundation for Polish Science.
The list of finalists will be announced on 7 November. Participants shortlisted for the finals will be invited to present the results of their work in the form of a ten-minute presentation during the final session.
“Chemistry is one of those fields in which Poles have a strong brand. This makes it all the more worthwhile to support talented young researchers who are already developing this area of science at such an early stage of their careers. The Foundation for Polish Science supports the best to become even better. I hope that those awarded the Gold Medal of Chemistry will be future laureates of our programmes, for example the START programme for the most talented young scientists”, said Prof. Maciej Żylicz.
