Graduate from the Jagiellonian University wins competition for the best master’s thesis on public procurement

The master’s thesis ‘Support for micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in public procurement law’ written by Krzysztof Zalewski, a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Kraków won the competition for the best master’s thesis in the field of public procurement.

The subject of the awarded thesis is the evaluation of the legal regulations contained in the Act of 11 September 2019 Public Procurement Law (p.z.p.) through the prism of the possibility of increasing the participation of micro, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs (SMEs) in the public procurement market to a level adequate to the potential of this sector, in accordance with the intention of the legislator expressed in the justification of the p.z.p.

The competition was organised by the Public Procurement Office and the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University.
