Wojciech Błaszczyk, a graduate of the Department of Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław became a finalist of the Mazda Design Experience 2020/21. The winner of the competition will receive a prize of PLN 20,000. PLN and the possibility of implementing his project.

Five designers have reached the finals, and in 2021 they will create designs in line with the slogan RECREATION and the competition inspiration – the electric Mazda MX-30. Martyna Piątek, Aleksander Rokosz, Wojciech Błaszczyk, Karolina Gardzilewicz and Anna Eliza Gwiazda are young (under 30) and extremely talented designers worth appreciating in the coming year.

Wojciech Błaszczyk’s projects are characterized by a simple but extremely aesthetic form, which results from the observation of nature and physical phenomena. In his works, he often refers to traditional Japanese craftsmanship – using natural, local materials and traditional woodworking techniques.
