Łukasz Moskal, a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Wrocław, has won an honorary award from the Polish Academy of Sciences – the “Dr Wacław Mayzel Medical Laurel”.
The award is presented for scientific and research activities carried out prior to graduation. Łukasz Moskal was awarded for a series of nine papers in the field of oncology, of which he was a co-author.
During his studies, Łukasz Moskal was active in the scientific societies of oncology, cardiac surgery and psychiatry. He is the recipient of many awards – including scholarships from the UMW rector and the Minister of Health for significant scientific achievements. He is currently a member of the European Society for Oncology Education and the American Society for Oncology Education.
The PAN award winner will graduate from the University of Wrocław in the academic year 2021/2022 and is currently doing his postgraduate internship at the Jan Mikulicz-Radecki University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław.
