Eng. Aleksander Jan Albrecht, a graduate of the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Engineering of the West Pomeranian University of Technology, received the “Diamond Grant” for the implementation of his first independent research project.

The laureate received 220 thousand PLN for the implementation of phase transformation studies of nanocrystalline iron nitrides with a specific size of crystallites, which will be implemented at the Department of Inorganic Chemical Technology and Environmental Engineering of the faculty of technology and engineering of the Szczecin University.

The organizer of the Diamond Grant competition is the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The winners were selected from 243 applicants in a two-stage competition procedure. During the implementation of the project, the winners will receive up to PLN 2,500 per month.
