Graduates of the Gdańsk University of Technology win the competition for housing thesis

PhD thesis of Weronika Mazurkiewicz from the Department of Urban Planning and Regional Planning of the Gdańsk University of Technology was awarded in the competition for the best diploma theses on housing issues. Aleksandra Gordowy, a graduate of the Gdańsk University of Technology was also among the winners of the competition.

Dr Eng. Weronika Mazurkiewicz received a distinction for her doctoral dissertation “Contemporary instruments for shaping comprehensive peripheral urban structures”. Another graduate of the Gdańsk university, Eng. Aleksandra Gordowy, won the award for the work “Pleasure of boredom. The house as a productive and unproductive space in the context of a residential building in Łódź at Wschodnia street”, written at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

The “PUM – Users and Residents Space” competition was organized jointly by PFR Nieruchomości S.A. in partnership with the PFR Foundation and the Bęc Zmiana publishing house.
