Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. is creating a Research and Development Center supporting innovations in the OXO segment and plastics processing. The Kędzierzyn company from Grupa Azoty has obtained the corporate approvals necessary to implement the strategic investment.

The Research and Development Center is another step towards the expansion of the company’s research infrastructure, strengthening the staff potential in creating innovative solutions and safeguarding intellectual property.

The project is a continuation of the Application and Development Research Laboratory launched in 2018, which gave Grupa Azoty ZAK S.A. the possibility of reproducing production processes on a laboratory scale and conducting comprehensive tests of obtained samples.

The investment is part of the updated Strategy of the Azoty Group. It will contribute to expanding the Company’s product offer with additional special esters and extending the product chain and processing of aldehydes into special products.
