In the latest world ranking of universities – University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) – among 2,500 assessed high schools there were 51 educational units from Poland.

The URAP ranking is based on objective data obtained from reliable bibliometric sources. The authors of the list are guided primarily by such criteria as the quality and quantity of publications as well as international cooperation.

The Harvard University opens a list of world rankings before the University of Toronto and the University of Oxford. The Jagiellonian University in Kraków gains the highest position among the Polish universities (323 in the world) and it comes before the University of Warsaw (342 in the world) and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków (499 in the world).
