Higher School of Information Technology and Management (UITM) in Rzeszów received almost PLN 1 million and became one of few non-public schools with the highest subsidy for maintaining research and teaching potential granted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Only two private Warsaw colleges received higher grants: SWPS University and Kozminski Academy.
One of the highest subsidies for non-public schools is a natural result of the consistent policy of building up the scientific capacity of UITM and it confirms the position of our university against other academic units in the country – emphasizes Prof. Agata Jurkowska-Gomułka, vice-rector of science at UITM.
The funds from the Ministry of Science are allocated to support team projects contributing to the strengthening of scientific achievements, including their internationalization – adds Prof. Agata Jurkowska-Gomułka.
