The Hong Kong Research Grant Board has prepared a PhD Scholarship Program that enables highly talented researchers from around the world to undertake PhD studies at world-class research universities in the city.

In the academic year 2019/2020, 250 PhD scholarships will be awarded. The scholarship provides a yearly salary of HK$ 240,000 (around EUR 26,400), a conference allowance and research travel amounting 10,000 HK$ (about 1,100 euros) per year for each scholarship holder for up to three years.

Candidates may submit applications via Internet Electronic System of the Hong Kong PhD Scholarship Program until December 1, 2018.
