The Polish microsatellite of Earth observation called Intuition-1 will be launched at the turn of 2022 and 2023. The KP Labs and FP Instruments with Future Processing as members of the FP Space consortium elaborate on this project. The venture is financially supported by the National Center for Research and Development.

Intuition-1 will be the first such advanced Earth observation satellite in the world. Its design is so innovative that the planet’s surface images will be processed by the satellite’s on-board computer. This solution will significantly reduce the stream of data sent to the ground receiving station.

The microsatellite will be a 6x CubeSat with dimensions of 10 x 22 x 36 cm. It weighs from 15 to 20 kg.
