On Saturday, November 23, Białystok University of Technology (PB) will inaugurate the new academic year of the Podlasie Children’s University.

Thanks to the financial support of six self-governments, children from Bialystok, Augustów, Bielsko Podlaski, Hajnowka, Siemiatycz and Sokółka will participate in classes at the Bialystok University of Technology.

During the first classes, the youngest students of the Bialystok University of Technology will receive transcripts and listen to the inaugural lecture “Can you walk? But do you know how you do it? ”, which will be delivered by Dr Eng. Szczepan Piszczatowski, Prof. PB from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

The Podlasie Children’s University is a project directed to primary school students, whose main goal is to popularize science and show that learning knowledge does not have to be boring and difficult. 15 thematically diverse meetings are planned in the 2019/2020 academic year.
